The Atelier
A Quiet Workshop, an Unbending Standard.
JOShaiiia is not a store. It is a small, independent atelier built around one obsession: transforming functional objects into pieces worthy of being kept. Behind the atelier is Jo — a designer, calligrapher, illustrator and photographer with more than twenty years of experience shaping visual work by hand and through modern technology. A lifelong passion for firearms and their customization naturally brought these disciplines together: drawing, proportion, ornament, metal, texture and precision.
Each project begins with an idea, often developed through hand sketches, lettering and illustration before it reaches the machine. Traditional techniques and the character of handwork are combined with modern machining, laser technology and precision finishing — not to replace craftsmanship, but to extend what the craftsman can achieve.
No project is treated as a production line. Every piece is approached individually, from the first consultation and design through engineering, machining, engraving, finishing and final photography. Some details are measured in microns. Others are felt by hand. The result is not simply a customized firearm. It is a personal object — designed, crafted and documented with the intention that it can be admired today and inherited tomorrow. Today’s Craft. Tomorrow’s Heirloom. One piece at a time.
The workshop
A private atelier in Zouk Mosbeh, Keserwan, working strictly by appointment. A quiet space built around one project at a time, where each piece is carefully studied, designed, crafted, and finished with purpose. Only a limited number of projects are accepted each year, allowing the work the time and attention it deserves. Clients are welcomed personally, and projects are documented in the atelier’s dedicated photographic studio. While many disciplines are handled in-house, certain specialized processes may be entrusted to trusted specialists, always under JOShaiiia’s creative direction and quality control. JOShaiiia is a bench, not a factory. Fewer projects. More attention. No unnecessary rush.

Hand gravers
Chasing, shading, bright cut and background work. The graver decides depth and how light travels across a cut — no machine reproduces it.

Fine gold and silver wire driven into cross-hatched steel, set entirely under the microscope, one line at a time.
Fine wire inlayMulti-axis CNC
Optic pockets, ports, windows and serrations cut square to the bore, then deburred and blended entirely by hand.

Nickel, gold and traditional electro bluing laid down in controlled baths, polished and finished by hand between every stage.

Ceramic coatings sprayed in a dedicated booth and cured to temperature, from single colours to full camouflage work.
